Is it normal to clean my roommates' mess?

By cleaning up for them you are training them to expect it. As long as you're paying your equal share of the rent, you should feel no obligation to the clean up after them

It's only normal if you allow it to be. Perhaps they'd be better off if you weren't their room mate any more, because I doubt they are paying you enough to be their maid?

do they pay more rent then you? because if not then i wouldnt clean up after them let them wallow in there own filth!

I could not live with a lay slob. I have to clean up after my boss and he's almost on his 40's. I don't get paid to clean up messes. You need to lay down some ground rules.

Yeah, its normal because you're home more often.
but just because its normal doesn't mean its right.

Personally I don't mind doing a little cleaning for people,
especially guys who can't clean but I'm a neat freak.
If you're tired of cleaning up their mess, good for you.
Tell them, and come up with a way to divide the work.

At least they don't piss in empty milk cartons. When that happens it's time to move out.
