Is it normal to choose the 60's as the best decade of music

I'm not even alive yet. I feel how the people feel in music of this era. There's a lot of music genre you will love to hear. From the folk rock, blues rock, psychedelic rock to R&B and soul music. This innovating period of music influenced by the hippie culture and all is include with some of good important messages whether it is political and rebellious, and psychedelia is such a beauty. it's also featured some of the music band like the yardies, the doors, the stones which is top at it's class. I'm sure what the most decade you'll miss is the 60's.

40's the better, we've got swing, jazz with some of the crooners like sinatra and crosby 1
50's the better, we've got RnB, gospel, and country, and doo-wop is such a unique style in this era 1
YES, It's Normal 10
70's the better, we've got soft rock, blues rock, and disco, we just love this kind of edgier music 1
80's the better, we've got metal rock, hard rock, and punk, this era has change the music forever 7
90's the better, we've got alternative, grunge, and indie, maybe the richest era of music by genre 3
00's the better, we've got hip-hop, rap, and RnB music, I love how the styles of music has evolved 1
10's the better, we know that this decade getting sucks, but we still love it, have a good day... 2
Other.. 3

From an objective standpoint, 60s music was indeed the best. Especially the later part of it. It's even scientifically backed. Most diverse era for music.

Definitely normal, my friend. Especially as the music of the last 30 years has been (and still is) boring, samey rubbish.

Sgt. Peppers was the breakthrough album for rock and roll. It changed rock music forever.

I love the grunge music of the early 90's, because it killed all that bullshit with those hair bands from the eighties.

Sorry but the 60's is my least favourite decade when it comes to music. Give me the 70's and the 80's because that's what I grew up listening to.

Each decade has high and low points, musically speaking.

The further away we get the more we only hear and remember the high points.
