Is it normal to chew my glasses?

Sometimes I find myself chomping or gnawing on my glasses--I know what Freud would say, but is this normal? Does anyone else do it? I'm leaving marks on the ends of my frames, and I would like to think that someone else somewhere has the same marks....

    By the way, I do think it's normal. I'm not sure if I've ever done this, though. I'd probably be more concerned with what could possibly be on there to actually chew/suck them.
