Okay so every time I write a comment for someone, I will repeatedly randomly look back, sometimes everyday, just to see if anyone gave it a thumbs up. I feel like a geek, but when I see someone gave me a thumbs up, I get extremely overly excited and want to pittle in my pants. IIN?
I do this often. I will go through all of the comments I have made in the last few days and see which ones people liked or didn't. It makes me feel special sometimes when a comment I made gets a lot of thumbs ups. It's kind of rare that I get thumbed down, but if I get thumbed down multiple times, it causes me to reconsider what I wrote. Don't be greedy, share those thumbs people! I sure do :)
I am the same as you, with a little less pants-pissing. I sometimes check other people's comments that I liked as well, to see if other people also enjoyed them. Yesterday I gave a comment a thumb-up, and I woke up this morning to see it had dropped to -1, so it doesn't always work!
Nah, a few days ago a gave a comment that got +11, which made me feel loved. I'm not sure why people loved it though, I guess I was inadvertently wise and deep.
I just checked again. It's on +14 now. And someone who commented solely to say they agreed is on +6. And an immature confirmation of receipt from me is on +2.
Sometimes I think that once a comment gets to around +4, everyone gives it thumbs up to see how high they can get it to go. People enjoy seeing things like that, seemingly.
