Is it normal to change your mind about a life changing decision?

I made a decision a few years ago, one that changed how I live my life basically. I've recently changed my mind about that decision, and I feel daunted by the task of changing my life again.

I think my safest plan would be to build myself up a little bit and move to a different state, just get out of this community with people I know.

Have you or do you know anyone who has had to relocate and restart? Make changes that you later regret?

Is It Normal?

  • Lots of people relocate in order to make a fresh start. As long as you don't make a repeat habit of it I think it's fine.

  • I've moved to the other side of the planet & trust, you unfortunately can't leave your problems behind. At the end of the day, you'll still be the same old messed up human with the same old problems. A new place can be amazing & a great new opportunity, but you'll still just have to do the work of figuring out what it is that made you unhappy in the first place.

  • I recently started having more time to read the bible and watch sermons. I love doing it. It makes decisions easier. Love is what binds, but in some situations moving may be best. I think it depends on what situation and what kind of people you are around that you love and love you.
