Is it normal to catch spiders if you're scared of them?

I'm really scared of spiders and every time I see one; I'm too scared to kill it. So I catch the spider using water empty bottles...Is it normal to do that?

    I scared of snakes but you will never see me putting a box on them! I stand back and yell for my wife to take care of it. That's right I'm a pussy! But since my wife pass away 5 years ago I just run the other direction ! LOL

    i'm glad you catch it. i've watched many people simply try to kill it any way they can...
    i am scared of them... but i respect the amazing design of them so much that i don't want to kill it...
    i try to rescue them and release into other places

    I do the exact same thing! Haha :) I feel bad killing them, so I use glasses and paper :)

    Dappled aren't you afraid they'll just come right back in? I'm too afraid to let them get away, i actually need to see it's carcass after my boyfriend kills it! :0 I know, I know, I'm a spider murderer....but I save human lives every day at work, so maybe it evens out? ;)

      lol, they do. One of the first times I posted here was because of a running battle I was having with a huge spider. Every time I threw it out of the window, it climbed back up the walls, down the air conditioning duct and popped up in my bath again. This went on for weeks.

    Lol I trap them underneath glasses and coffee mugs and things and wait for my boyfriend to come kill it. I say normal ;)
