I agree with some people on here that she does deserve to know in person. That being said it's hard to put in words face to face that you can say when she's not in front of you. I would go old school and go both ways. Write your feelings out in a letter and then give it to her face to face and let her read it in front if you. I think it's at least mire respectful if she does want to talk about it. Good luck
