I bite the skin off the inside of my cheeks and eat it and I wouldn’t consider it normal but I wouldn’t say it’s tooooo weird except the blood part sounds damaging to your health and could cause an infection. If you’re drawing blood that’s going to cause recurring pain and could definitely allow bacteria to enter the wounds while eating.

I do it. Not the drinking blood part, but i bite the inside of my cheeks. I think it's an outlet for stress & sometimes boredom for me. Whenever i get anxious I automatically start chewing my cheeks & lips... and then when I'm bored or daydreaming i chew my cheeks too. What's worse is that once all the top skins gone, the feeling of the inside of my cheek being all jagged and rough makes me want to just chew it even more to make the skin smooth again!!!

From what I've been told, it's usually a habit started when your'e a child and yes, it is totally normal (and actually quite popular and similar to nail biting), but not good for you due to the obvious discomfort and risk of oral cancer.

I sometimes do very small though like really small. Not at all to the point where i make my cheeks inside bleed. I also let the small chewing spots grow back. That is not ok, you should stop it could cause something. And something could go horribly wrong.

I used to bite my lips, make them bleed and drink blood when i was younger, it tasted nice and salty, I don't do it anymore, and laugh at the thought of it now. But no way would I try eating skin from my cheeks, that sounds awful, sounds kinda like self harm, you could also get an infection...

Ya mean like eating yourself? I remember once reading some story about some starving traveler sometime back in the 1800s who sawed off his own arm, roasted it over a fire and ate it, saving himself from starving to death. Then he did the same thing with his foot and calf. Then he died a couple weeks later from severe infection.

I can't imagine anyone today doing what the guy back in the 1800s I was talking about in my other comment did. There were also people back then who got into crazy bloodshed fights where they would gouge off the other guy's eye or bite off his dick! People were just more barbaric and crazy 150-200 years ago.
