I'm only responding, in this case to, "But its the money and society that drives criminals."
Most criminals are criminals because they were too lazy to do well in school; even if it is terribly difficult, almost anyone can apply themselves and get an education. Without the education, they turn to "easy money"; drugs, robberies, etc, not the hard work it takes to be a regular wage earner.
It's only desperation if they are lazy; anybody who chooses, can survive on a meager salary and live within their means. It may not be the life they envisioned, but it can be a good, happy life, none the less.
Is it normal to believe that you would give your life for another.
