I'd give my life for a person who is really close to me or someone who considers the same principles as me. Atleast, I fantasize so. I've been in a near death situation with a relative and I was prepared to protect them at all costs, even my life. For me, it depends how dire the cause or situation is. Leave people, I'd die for my principles. I think it's a noble way to go.
