Even if every single Christian believes it false it mostly teaches a good message. Dont cheat, don't steal, don't lie, and so on. Thats obvious stuff people should know but don't want to follow anyways. If people would just be decent maybe we would not have a book. We would not need the book full of laws down at the court house either. Yet people continue going against it and that's why its there. Should people rape NO! Are people going to yes. Should these people be punished YES. Should people be good people YES if not do they not deserve punishment YES. God delivers that punishment. See how that works? Its a law book telling people obvious things. People choose to be dicks. If people could just behave on there own we would not need a bloody book telling them whats what!
