Is it normal to believe that love is the answer to everything?

All said and done I believe that eventually love can answer all questions. Perhaps it even starts with self love.

Is It Normal?

  • Self love is the prerequisite to acceptance of one's self as you are, and therefor having an enjoyable life.
But love isn't even enough to keep a loving couple together. It won't feed, clothe, house or protect you.

    • Self love is fine. It don't help much when you give all your love to someone who betrays your love and trust.
Now I don't love me or anyone else in the world.

      • Your loss. Not everyone is like your ex and if you hate yourself, what do you have to live for?

        • I don't hate myself. I take good care of myself. Self love is unimportant. I treat people with respect. I'm incapable of hate. You have give a shit to about others to hate.

    • No but wouldn't you need love to even want to do all that. You love someone therefore you want to do all that you can to take care of them. I'd say Love is a beginning and an end to emotional pain and suffering.

      • No, love is not needed to do all that; many people do it because it is their job. Others volunteer to do it.
And to many, love is emotional pain and suffering. That's why so many on here want nothing to do with emotional attachments; they are afraid of getting hurt.

  • Violence is always a viable answer.

  • No it's not.. Because love is the answer. Loving yourself and having a healthy view of yourself is very important, but yes.. I believe love is the key.

  • I don't think I can rub some love on my bullet wounds, but the thought itself is lovely.

  • “Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.”
