  • Just because our needs are not the same dos not mean we cannot give equal opportunity to have those needs met.

Why is this concept lost on so many?

    • I think the OP understands this concept... but there ARE a lot of people out there who think "gender equality" actually means absolute equality in every single way.

      • Not trying to start an argument, but in what ways could absolute equality be bad? We all get treated the same, except for minor needs, and we erase gender stereotypes and such.

        • Arguing both *for* AND *against* "absolute equality" are both non-arguments, because "absolute equality" simply cannot exist.

Male and Female are simply two sides of the same coin, they can't be equal, but you can't have one without the other, either. They're one of the many dualities we have in this world.

      • It was a rhetorical question.

          • Hi OP, I'm sorry if my question sounded like a direct question to you. It was more of a pondering in my own head as to how people, in general, will think about an issue.

I ask a lot of rhetorical questions.
