It makes total sense because how would you explain why one baby can be born in a rich family and another being destitute? Karma and Reincarnation go hand in hand. There are also spiritual tests. So if a baby is born with a disease like cancer, it can be the result of karma for the baby, (and the baby’s parents), from their last lifetime or it can be a spiritual test for the baby, (and the baby’s parents).
