Maybe if my own opinion was that Santa is real, but not God, because Santa is an actual person with magic. And I do believe in magic, SOME, to a point.
Santa is just as impossible as God. There is no evidence of his existence, and his capabilities are unrealistic. It's just a story told to children for fun.

It's absurd to believe in either, if you think about it. Why would you believe in one but say the other is more ridiculous?
