sure it's normal and it's basically the same either you believe in god or science you just choose faith in an omnipotent being that created the universe for a purpose or you believe in an omnipotent chance that created the universe for no reason because in either case there is no PROOF. Sorry there fundies but this is the truth
I believe in God. Sometimes when I feel really scared or sick, I think what Jesus would look like in Heaven waiting for me when I go, then I don't feel so scared and sick any more.(please don't think I'm stupid, I'm not. I know that if yo think about something else to distract you you will feel less sick and scared but imagining Jesus is the only way to distrat me fully, as i have an imaginative brain xD) And I pray every night for me and my family.
until someone actually understands whatever it is you just said.
By the way I also get that pesky caps key problem. IT REALLY MAKES ME LOOK LIKE I'M SHOUTING AT PEOPLE WOOps, but I don't do that in real life so I'm not going to go on the internet, hide behind a computer screen and start acting all caps-lock warrior.
have a nice day, keep a smile, and spread some love. X
They came to be in essentially the same way life on our planet started and evolved. I never said they "created" life here, they simply visited Earth many times during its existence. They're still among us nowadays, mostly integrated into human society although they still do resurface every now and then. The last time they did was in the early 90s.
People have all kinds of beliefs. Athiest are growing day by day. I don't personally believe in one specific "god" I believe our lives have a purpose to fullfill, To reach enlightenment and enter Nirvana in the long run. I believe in a higher place and a better place, with no suffering. Not one god to bow down to and devote my life to. We are all responsible for our own actions. God was created to give people structure and purpose, Satan or the slanderer was created to give a reason for the bad things that happen and for the bad things people do. To keep order. Everyone should do good, and be kind to one another, without judging or hatred. I don't think you need a God to be kind to one another.
Of course! And i feel like others around me loose faith in God. Even my own moralities diminishing.. but no matter what ill always believe in Him. Every internal and external hardship I've gone through He's ALWAYS helped me get through it.
Sometimes I feel like the world is just rotting. Reading the Revelations chapter, the last of the bible, of the prophecy of the rising of the anti-Christ, people placing their faith in falsehoods, the Mark of the Beast and violence and war.. if it were to happen in the next few years or so I wouldnt be surprised(the govt conspiracies help too..). Half the music on the radio with barbaric messages of sex money drugs, materialistic ideals, depictions of what is shown on TV and other media..
God is here! It may feel like He's not with the influences of today, but for thousands of years faith in the Lord hasn't been in vain!
Almost everyone wants the safety and comfort of knowing there's a reason for all this, and that there's something to look forward to after we die.
Why else would so many religions and so many Gods have been such a focal point for humans throughout history?
The unknown is very scary.
I honestly believe in God but I am a very spiritual person. I should not be confused as being religious. My "religion" is a mixture of Islam and shamanism. I worship God with Islam and with shamanism I get in contact with the spirits of the the world and beyond. A lot of you may not understand this but believe me do not knock it until you try it friend.
