  • I don't believe that psychopaths, and sociopaths are capable of love.

    • Yup. The only thing they may be capable of loving is their fucked up behavior, and possibly themselves.

      • Yes, I think a lot of them are narcissists.

      • Because they just physically don’t care? Can that be rewired, neuroplasticity etc

            • They're brains aren't made for it, they're incapable of it. Sociopaths will never be more than superficially charming at best.

              • Both are narcissistic, it’s one of their core components.

Well the idea is that sociopathy is created through abuse or neglect. These people tend not to be even superficially charming, they’re the type that is constantly in trouble and seems dangerous within moments of speaking to them. A power cord that’s half plugged in with noticeable sparks coming off it.

Whereas psychopathy is genetic, and being born blank they are forced to learn from birth to charm as a way of fitting in. A power cord totally unplugged, it’s worse, but no sparks to notice.

              • Are you a neuroscientist?

    • Psychopaths technically can love, but I wouldn't count on it.
I hate them, just let them die.

    • That is the textbook diagnosis. But do you think there is a capacity for change? If their reality was opened up?
