Not only is it normal to believe in Aliens, it's almost arrogant not to.
Consider this: Every star (that's about 70 sextillion: 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 that we've counted. But that's only so far, and we discover more every day) has a "habitable" zone, in which a planet could orbit and sustain life. It's not known how many of those stars have planets orbiting them. But with 70,00,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars that could have planets around them, don't you think at least one has also developed life? It's statistically highly improbable that there isn't another planet with life on it.
