There's nothing wrong with being pessimistic. People who walk around happy and smiling all the time are usually candidates for the loony bin. Additionally, it sounds as though you don't have a lot to be optimistic about, no job, poor communication skills, etc. Why not go back to school and improve your situation in life? Learn proper grammar and use it. If you can't get a job in whatever field you've chosen, learn some other skill. Things don't just "happen," you have to do something to make them happen.
