I've got the same problem. I've been suffering from (cystic) acne for more than six years now. My advice is to try enjoying life no matter what.
From what I've read, I can deduce you have nice facial features. That means that when your acne clears up, you'll look handsome again. In the meantime, it's not that you look a bit messed up that you're not entitled to fun and a social life. Try to remain positive.
What kind of scarring do you have? If you have discoloration, that's something that'll go away. Just give it a couple of months.
Lastly, know are the one who pays the most attention to your acne. Therefore, your pimples seem a lot bigger to you than they do to other people.
