Honestly, don't worry about being weird. I know it's such a cliché, but just be yourself. Be nice to girls, keep trying to make conversation, but don't sweat it if they just don't seem interested. One day you'll meet a girl who LOVES whatever weirdness you have, and you'll be glad you didn't change to impress all those superficial girls.
19 is still so young, and in my opinion, 19 year old girls have some growing up to do before they realise that all the best guys are actually the kinda weird ones ;)
