My advice to you is you have to think like a girl/woman. Think about what women are interested in. As soon as you start thinking like a man you scare them off. If it seems that you are trying to hard to get them to like you it is also a turn off.
I suggest you start off the relationship and just imagine that she was another one of your guy friends. Girls enjoy hanging out, going to movies, eating at restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities.
Everyone enjoys it when people ask about the other person. Try to find out as much as you can about the other person without it seeming as though you are interrogating her. I'm not Dr. Love but it's a good start.
Take it slow and don't try to rush anything. It takes time to build trust.
