Just people, I could never harm an animal on purpose. Growing up without much human interaction I sought out affection from my pets instead, (mainly birds, dad doesn't like dogs/cats.)
Honestly though I'd much rather hang out with my birds than a stranger, and I consider my birds my children.

yeah, I am a mom but I like my dogs more then my kids >.<
