Is it normal to be very ticklish?

I'm a very ticklish 22yr old man. I'm ticklish on my sides, sometimes my legs and neck. I thought i would be used to it by now cuz people have tickled me too much in the past and its getting annoying. I'm jus wondering if thats normal?

  • who freaking cares? other people have more important questions about stupid crap, don't let them tickle you?
in some countries, that's considered rape, if you're unwilling.

No worries, very normal. Love Poisonflower's take on it...tickling IS fun to watch (and even more fun to dish out!) but is pure TORTURE to go through! And when you're getting tickled and everyone around is laughing and enjoying YOUR predicament you find out you don't have a friend in the world, LOL!!!

That is perfectly normal. Those areas that you listed are usually people's most sensitive place so it tickles when you just touch there.

Tres normal. It just means that you have a couple of weak spots to guard.

Tickling is funny to watch, but soooo, sooo torturous to go through. It can literally feel like torture when you can't escape.

My boyfriend is incredibly ticklish. Everywhere. Sometimes it's annoying, lol. I'm not ticklish at all. You're normal!

I'm very ticklish as well lol especially in the neck area. Whenever I find something funny or when I laugh, I have to pull my shirt collar away from my throat because that will tickle me (A lot of my shirts are ruined because of this). My friends said I'm weird to be ticklish in that area. Good to know that I'm not alone!

Anyway, I don't think it's weird at all to be ticklish because it's not something you can get used to.
