Been a veggie for 15 years. I don't care what anyone else does. Not interested enough in anyone's dietary habits. Never lectured anyone - that stuff is lame.
Paradoxically, it's meat eaters who come down on me like a ton of bricks because I avoid flesh foods. Good thing I live on the coast - the only thing I could order at the restaurants in the midwest was french fries.
I'm a vegetarian who every two or three days eats fish. So to be more accurate I'm a pescetarian. The first time I tried vegetarianism was when I was still a child and some people did give me a hard time (mostly my peers). My peers thought it was weird to eat vegetables consequently, I later found out that one of them was severely constipated due to her refusal to eat vegetables. Adults at that time were more concerned about whether or not I was getting enough protein. Now, I haven't been having any problems from people but maybe that's because I keep my diet to myself? .
