Yes and no. Yes, you're normal for being upset, it seems like this is a common issue for some. No, you're not normal for believing it because it's not really true.
They grew up with the internet and the adults in their lives did not, that's about the biggest difference.
The sex part is still the same though.
However, these days, instead of keeping their sexual experimentation amongst themselves or at their schools, they are exhibitioning themselves sexually to the world via the internet.
The internet sometimes gives the illusion of privacy, but it's really not very private at all. So, without parents or teachers warning children about the pitfalls of socializing sexually online - or even being aware of what's going on on the internet in the first place, those kids are going to do whatever they want while not understanding or even being aware of the full consequences.
They are not "immoral", they are uninformed - which is normal for any teenager from any generation.
