  • Without going into a rant, it is sadly more common then you'd like. Many people shouldn't have pets, or at least high maintenance animals but do and its so sad.

I used to have neighbors like that, you just have to do what you can. And if it ever seems too bad then I would say call the spca in the case your worried about its health

This may cause your neighbor to hate you thou

    • The only problem with that is that the RSPCA or regional equivalent might just go through the motions which could make things worse, I had a neighbour once with a beautiful border collie, they kept in in the garden on a leash tied to a stick all day never took it inside, never cut its nails, never provided shelter when it was raining, it'd just stand there in the rain all day, it got skinny from lack of food, horrible to see

We phoned the RSPCA who basically gave them a verbal slap on the wrist, after that they treated the dog even worse and kept arguing with us, it got to the point where the RSPCA only started doing something once they were physically abusing the dog, which is something they never did before the RSPCA

But, maybe they are just usless in my area
