Is it normal to be unsure about starting a relationship?

I like this girl and she knows it too. She's also said that we could be more than friends. So basically all I have to do is ask her out. Problem is though, I don't know if it's worth it.
For one thing, my friends would give me a hard time if we went out. Also right now I am extremely busy.

I just have all these thoughts going back and fourth about this. I am really undecided about whether to ask her out.

    If you care what your friends think then you are not mature enough to have a relationship.

    Well first off I'd say Ive been in similar situations. When it comes down to it dude, what's in your best interest right now? Are you going to have time for her? If so then I say ask her out. If not I'd say tell her you don't have time for a relationship right now, but want to casually date, you know have fun, nothing serious. If she really likes you she will be cool with that.I've also come to learn you can't care what your friends think. It's not about them it's about you and what you want. If they can't understand it's their problem. No worries!
