Look past the color, will you? Before you start thinking all that low confidence stuff, first ask yourself; Did you deserve your spot on the team? If you managed to get into the team through tryouts, then you've definitely earned it and must now earn your keep. If there were no tryouts, it's time for you to show them your worth.
You can succeed if you have consistency, diligence, and confidence. And maybe some luck. So, good luck.
