Is it normal to be uncomfortable with self defense?

I can't stand violence at all. To the point where even the thought of someone wanting to know self defense bothers me. These feelings are strengthened by my autism. Is it weird or bad that stuff gets to me this easily?

Being against violence is understandable, but you should have some sense of self-preservation.

That is definitely not normal. Being killed is like someone unplugging your xbox in the middle of a game except it's permanent. Everything that you do is made possible by being alive so of course one should be able to protect the most precious thing that one owns, their own body.

Plus martial arts are fun. I took judo and it was fun rolling around on the ground with people and doing flips and stuff while getting fit at the same time.

everyone has the right to defend themselves, it's not normal to be uncomfortable with that concept
