    Apparently circumsision is pretty popular in America but in Ireland, where I live, hardly anyone is circumsised. Your penis is more natural than your friends'.

    why would nature give you a foreskin if it need to chop off?

    is nature dumber than humans?

      When man was fighting with the animals to exist, the foreskin protected the penis from thorns and whatever. When these things called clothes were invented, the germs and such collected under the foreskin, leading to bladder infections [remember, no penicillin yet] leading to a host of problems.
      So Abraham circumcised his penis with a sharp stone and bladder infections and such dwindled to a minimal amount.
      But if you want to live like a beast in the wild, then don't circumcise.

    I say leave it just the way it is! A lot of people will say it's more prone to infection and problems but if you take safety measures with the people you sleep with and know how to keep yourself clean then there is no reason to get circumcised. My ex was not cut and it was the best. His father actually decided to get circumcised when he was 24yrs old and regretted it after. That's why he didn't circumcise my ex. It's all about what you are comfortable with.

    I have no problem with guys wanting to be circumcized at an adult age but I don't like how it can be forced upon a child, especially given the health risks and an article I read a little while ago saying that it could be linked to autism. Even without those risks, it's still pretty barbaric.

    Your penis is natural and your parents were good enough to let you keep a natural body part. I wouldn't know if it's "normal" though. It depends on the area you live I suppose.

    That said, I am always taken back by people bringing up the hygiene point in support of circumcision...It's as if those people have yet to come across soap, hot water, a bathtub, a shower, or any other modern day method of having good hygiene. Lol.

      Uncircumcised penises have a higher likelihood of catching an std than circumcised that is a fact .

        So do condomes...Which makes getting circumcized a redundant and barbaric practice when "forced" (forced being the key word).

          Not to mention the fact that my circumcised penis is much more attractive than a weird ant eater looking penis . I'm glad my parents decided to get me circumcised and never from around 100 women have I heard oh ur circumcised in disappointment at least here in the states the majority of women prefer it very much.

            Ah, so you're offended. Listen. I am not opposed to someone being circumcized if "they" choose it to happen, that's fine. It's when it's forced on infants that I have a problem with.

            But if you're main support to it is "Well, girls like it!" then I don't envy your self respect if you're going to support being mutilated just to "get teh ladieez"...

              So the fact that it's easier to keep clean and makes you less likely to contract an std and it's more aesthetically pleasing aren't enough reason do you know how much more difficult and painful it is to get done as an adult? I've never heard of anybody being disappointed about being circumcised and missing out on having a foreskin

    Yes, you are perfectly normal! Your friends who are circumcised are normal too, there's many reasons why they may be circumcised, both voluntary and not. So please just enjoy your penis and let them enjoy theirs without judgement from either side!

    Sure. Most people here(US) and some countries are circumcised but most of the world is "whole".
    As long as you don't mind who cares? Some girls like it and some not but if they like YOU it shouldn't matter much.
