I don't know what it is about the texture, but I can't eat them without gagging. Everyone else I know loves them, but something about the odd wrinkly texture combined with the bland flavor makes me want to puke.
I feel the same in recent years. They used to be my go to eat out breakfast. Now I go for poached, nd even the thought of scrambled makes me sick.
Even reading your post and typing my reply made me gag :/
I really like poached eggs, lately I've been eating boiled eggs all the time.
I'm pretty ok with poached and boiled eggs. I make softboiled a lot for on the go, in particular.
I do hardboiled cos they're easy to make and store. Good protein snack to get me through my ridiculously long days.
Plus, kids tend not to like them so they don't bug me to eat them.
Add ketsup.
eggs REALLY need it.
Its like rice without shoyo.
Coffee without, anything.
Sex without, foreplay.
Its just no good.
