I read this reply and can only assume this is the type of person you find it difficult to communicate with. Thisissomuchfun was so interested in trying to make you look silly that they couldn't even understand your point. How do you argue with this!
I must admit I am still trying to work out how to argue in these situations. They take out fact, make it emotional and if they can put in a moral argument they have the trifecta.
Is it normal to be unable to communicate with narrow minded people?
