My 12-year- old daughter is starting to show signs of astigmatism, and she has not before. so I was wondering if it was normal to be this late, i guess

    Doctors diagnosed me with astigmatism at around 5. Like Avant-Garde said it could happen at any age. I would take your daughter to the optometrist and see what he can do about it.

    I'll be 20 this year and started showing slight signs of astigmatism when I was like 15. It can happen at any age. Take her to her optometrist and have her checked out.

    I think a stigmatism can show up at any age. Does she have any health problems? Take her to her main doctor and see what they recommend.
