Is it normal to be turned on by women who don't like french?

Hello, everyone. I am a 27 year old French male currently living in the United States. Throughout the years, we French have always heard in movies and television how women from around the world supposedly all love the French language, and how it is so romantic. Yet, after living here in America for sometime, I realized that there are quite a few women who are NOT attracted to French, and some are even turned off by it. The strange thing is that, on a certain level, I find myself extremely aroused by this. I don't why, but when a woman rejects French, I find to be a huge turn on. Does anyone have any possible idea or opinion on why I would feel this way? And could this still be considered a normal feeling? Merci.
