IIN to be transgender?

The only thing I would caution against is letting -anyone- else know you're trans, unless you don't put much thought into fear for your safety.
I've known a few people who are trans. Depending on certain things, you do risk getting beaten or killed when you're walking down the street. At least in the US anyway. I would look into other trans people's lives on blogs and youtube for more info if this is something that worries you.

I'm not saying you shouldn't do what makes you happy. It isn't my business or anyone else's what you do with yourself. I'm saying that you should look into everything that comes with the territory. You could be getting yourself into more than you sign up for.
