Sometimes it's just that a person slurs their words, and people get tired of asking what you said. Other times a group has some sort of social rule that you have broken, and they will punish you for it. It doesn't have to last though. Try to sit back and watch what's going on to learn their rules. Then decide if it's a group you want to continue socializing with. Do seek out activities you like so you have multiple social groups to mix with. College friends can be a valuable asset.
