Me and my mate are proper cowards when it comes to meeting someone. We either dont know what to say or just say the inappropriate thing. So does everyone have this situation or what are the best ways. Also give me some funny chat up lines, could be a laugh. The cheesier the better.
You're born that way. You need to force yourself into social situations to desensitize yourself. Take the initiative. It reduces stress. It's like giving your speech first. When I was young i was very shy. When I trained for my profession, I was placed in many humiliating situations. Guess what? It doesn't kill you. After a while you get used to being on the spot socially and then you get kind of good at it . All ways ask yourself: Whats the worst thing that can happen? And really, others really don't care if you mess up as much as you think.
Everyone are a bit shy but there are people who really are to much shy, like you.
My best friend used to be shy as hell in his childhood, and now he is getting all the chicks, i mean to say that as you grow up, your shyness starts to go away, BUT it wont do itself, you have to work with it!

go back to highschool that is small and take speech class again. that helped me
