Is it normal to be this worried about buying a shirt

So I get paid tomorrow and I am thinking about going by walmart and buying a couple of cheap thin T shirts to make my hot humid summer more comfortable.
The thing that is bothering me is that I have been reading about philosophy, Nihilism in particular, and have come to the conclusion that the current American way of life cannot continue and fully expected society to fall apart. I believe that corporations not the government run out county and that the disparity between the rich and the poor has been become so great that soon the common worker will soon revolt. Anyway I feel like buying T shirts from Wal-mart does not support my ideals, but I could really use some shirts and they will get all sweaty and yucky so I don't want to pay alot for them

Is It Normal?

  • I am a woman who over thinks most of my decisions but u are on another level. So I'm going to say this The Walmart Corp employees thousands of people and I would consider them the common man they also offer discounted products that help lower to middle class families.

Help someone pay a bill or keep a roof over their head. Buy a dam shirt

    • Yeah right, the old lie of "but the slave masters are good for us... see, they give us food and shelter" yeah yeah yeah. Whatever.

It's good that the guy thinks about these things, maybe something will change in the world, slowly. I don't very often hear people saying "I've been reading about Nihilism, and..."

  • Just steal them then. problem solved, their not getting money and you're getting your shirts. But seriously if you don't want that, what about good will giving back to the community and getting the shirts you want?

    • As a plus sized girl I rarely have good luck with clothing at good will, I have bought alot of household things from there but hardly ever cloths. Big women have such a hard time finding clothes they usually don't get rid of them, they just keep hanging on to them hoping they will come back in style

  • I understand. I'm not a fan of walmart, but I still go there when I went something cheap! I feel like a walking contradiction, but I'm broke and I've gotta feed my family for cheap and I refuse to feed them fast food! Whatcha going to do?!
