OP has given us no reason to doubt her story, and so I will take her at her word, and respond accordingly. There's no reason to doubt her, or anything she has said unless you are trying be cruel, or disrespectful of her which is completely inappropriate, and unappreciated!

I doubt everyone's story. A one sided narrative is always biased, and it's nothing to condemn a stranger on.
