Hey , im a 18 year old girl , i wanted to ask if its normal to be sucking my thumb at this age .. i suck it sometimes when im sleeping mostly .. like 1 or 2 times in 2 weeks =D

    It's not only "normal" (whatever that means) but common. See thumbsuckingadults for the proof. In the meantime consider the fact that your habit is superior to most alternatives. Why stop a habit that's free, legal, quiet, convenient, non-intrusive, aids in concentration and sleep, without calories or drugs, instantly calming and more?

    There's absolutely nothing 'normal' about sucking your thumb at your age. You've obviously got some serious psychological issues and you should get some help.
    Don't be surprised if it's a bit off putting with your girl friends, too.
