Is it normal to be so troubled by birth

I had my baby 2 1/2 months ago, although I found it very painful only made it with less than 2 hours to spare till the moment she came out, it was a pretty straight forward birth.

I lost a lot of blood but I was fine enough to go home after a couple days.

I for some reason can't come to terms with how painful it was, everytime I think about anything to do with birth I crack up and just cry. It's over now so what's wrong with me ? :s

Many mothers are traumatised by birth - usually if it was a difficult birth, but that doesn't mean that someone who had a straightforward birth can't be having difficulty with it (though losing a lot of blood doesn't sound so straight forward).

How are you bonding with your baby? Do you have a supportive partner and family? Do they know about how you're feeling?

In time, assuming all else is well with you and your baby re bonding and coping with being a new mother, you will probaby need some sort of counselling - particularly if you decide to have another baby.
