“If you have fear of some pain or suffering, you should examine whether there is anything you can do about it. If you can, there is no need to worry about it; if you cannot do anything, then there is also no need to worry.”
I wasn't that much into partying myself even in college. I think it is foolish to think getting drunk is fun. I preferred getting what I went to school for done not thinking that everybody had to be my friend and that I had to fit in with the partiers. I knew I would meet the people that I would have fun with, without having to party all the time.
Then get out there to meet new people. Because if you and your friends weren't interested in similar things would you still want to hangout with them?
It sounds as if you just need to make yourself more confident about yourself. Do some self evaluating. I recommend looking up self help sites on assertiveness and spirituality. This site I recommend to everyone. http://tinybuddha.com/
Go do whatever you are interested in and enjoy; you would be bound to find others and it can happen slowly. Be patient with yourself.
Is it normal to be so introverted ?

Do not worry, worrying only makes you feel worse.
I love this quote by the Dalai Lama:
“If you have fear of some pain or suffering, you should examine whether there is anything you can do about it. If you can, there is no need to worry about it; if you cannot do anything, then there is also no need to worry.”

What happened to all your high school friends? Why don't you talk to them again or anymore?
