Is it normal for a person to be so immature even though he /she is really old like 50+ ?

    Uggh the most Childish people i have met are all of my grand parents.
    Old people tend to act really immature.
    They've got loads of knowledge.

    Yeah it's normal. My grandpa acts like he has Benjamin Button for a brain nowadays.

    Perhaps they have the mindset that they should be treated royally since they're "seniors", and did their share of "contributing to society" back in their youth.

    I suppose it depends what you mean exactly.

    My mom is 73 yo and behaves like a rotten spoilt bitch of 13 yo. She never filters her rotten hateful comments and insults everyone constantly. I wish she'd grow up but I suppose it's too late for her now :o(

        It's only recently that her doctor described her as that exact word, 'angry' with life. We are so used to her being that way 100% of the time, we just think of her as hateful, nasty, rotten, selfish, etc.

        My dad died last November so maybe we could pair the two of them up. They might make two decent people very unhappy if we don't matchmake.

          yea he is that way most of the time , but on a less scale of anger than when he's angry , like when hhe is not anggry he complains or argues about small and big things .

    Maybe their childhood wasn't so great, more often than not, that's a big factor on why immaturity stays with a person for so long.

      In that case people shouldn't be bothered /surprised from much younger adults who act very immature .

        I think it's a bit socially unacceptable, I don't have a problem with it personally but society expects you to act a certain way at certain ages
