Is it normal to be slightly annoyed by anime-style drawing?

    I have noticed that many that are good at drawing always say their drawings are ugly...

      As your skills raise, your standards raise.

      Also, we might be having a bit of modesty.

      It annoys the fuck out of me when artists that are, honestly terrible rush up to me and go "AHH!!! ISN'T THIS BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART AMAZING!???" when it's just badly drawn anime.

      I draw in anime style sometimes, and sometimes semi-realistic anime style.
