I don't debate him on it at all. He straight up asked me if I thought premarital sex was wrong and I said yes just to not cause a beef. Is that what you woulda done sir?
I personally would have disagreed, nearly all my friends have had premarital sex and I would feel like I was slagging them off behind their back if I agreed with him.
I realise context is important though, in London it’s pretty unusual to hold such beliefs unless you’re very religious, but I get the impression that in some parts of the USA being a strict Christian is assumed.
Nowhere I've been loool. Very few solid Christian's and nobody assumes you are, at least where I've been.
I think the more relavant context is that me and him are good pals but he does not tolerate disagreement well. I'd bet my bottom dollar that if I disagreed, he spew on for 30 minutes about why hes right.
Part of me does wish I would have disagreed though, in retrospect that's what I should have done. If it were to happen again I would but I don't wanna pretend I changed my mind how cause then he'd just give me shit for that.
