    that's his own mistake.

    anyway that still doesn't negate the fact that if his "guests" have been there long enough they may have legal rights as tenants.

    it depends on where he is.

    even if you wave the "his house" sign around

      Yes but tenants have to pay. Which means they have to pay him don't they? I mean is he going to be forced to pay for them? If he is homeless I do not think that is even possible. Which means they will be kicked out since he can not make the payments.

        he's not renting. he's the landlord technically.

        Which means as tenants they may have legal rights. It's not as easy as just saying "fuck you move out" and they have to move out instantly.

        In reality, he'll have to take legal action on kicking them out.

        but remember, this all depends on where he lives. each state has a different law about this

          They are only tenets if they are paying him. Unless they are paying rent and for food and so on he has the right to kick them out. What happens when you do not pay your house and car? They take it away from you. You also can get evicted for being a slob. So that is a rule. If you are living in terrible condition the landlord can kick you out. This kind of thing has happened before. Not like this is unusual.

            Again - this. is. based. on. where. you. live.

            In some states you STILL have to go through specific legal proceedings to evict someone. Regardless on if they pay rent or not, or any other reason you're trying to throw into this mix.

            Now I'm not saying a landlord can't kick you out - what I'm saying is they MAY have to go through a legal process first. The tenant WILL have legal rights in such a matter.

            Even if you don't like this fact.
