i have no idea if this relates but... i'm a guy. i didn't have sex til 20 and one reason was i was terrified of that or even making out with a girl... because i didnt know what to do! well, i knew technically what to do but the whole process between talking to someone to sex was an enigma to me and i was afraid of embarrassment and shaming myself somehow.
anyways, after the first time that pretty much disappeared... i understood how it worked, and really it was just going with the flow. awkward moments happened, but they aren't even a big deal as i realised.
as i remember my friends were pretty nervous about sex til they did it also.
