Is it normal to be scared to call people on the phone?

I feel like the people I have around me are more like acquaintances than friends and I never call anyone on the phone.. I am scared what they are thinking when we talk and the fact that I cannot see the expression of their face makes me scared they will think something negative about me while we talk.

  • Honestly? Phones aren´t a natural thing. Literally MOST of my issues are because of how our unnatural society works.

    "You must have a job"

"You must be able to talk on the phone"

"You have to be able to wake up at this time and be able to sleep before midnight"

So no, I don´t think you are weird at all.

I dislike it when anyone except really close people just call me, if it´s an emergency then fine.
    If not, fucking text.

  • I also do not want to call people, with few exceptions.
telephone calls, text, e-mails; all bring bad news, unwanted
    information.
Society and technology has gone too far.

  • I don't like it either, except with certain people. Never have. I even used to have some pretty bad anxiety in regards to phone answering lol.. I like talking to close friends occasionally, but even with family I tend to get annoyed after a few minutes.
