Absolutely. I don't believe ghosts are real, but a good horror movie allows me to suspend my disbelief for a while. Psychological horror gets under my skin much more than anything explicit. Then when it all gets too much I can always remind myself that it's not real. Or in my mom's words 'don't worry, it's just ketchup'
